Single Crochet Square

Here's a free crochet pattern for an easy baby afghan square. This afghan square is easy enough for beginners. The granny square is one of the easiest items to make but it is also one of the most confusing to learn if not given the following directions. sc – single crochet USA, dc –UK 1. Lay out all your granny squares in the exact order that you want to crochet them together. Stitches Used: Single Crochet (sc): Insert your hook into stitch, YO (yarn over), pull hook out of stitch.   • The bottom of the cluster is the bottom point of the shawl.
  • Chain one and double crochet once in the ring.

  • Imagination is all you need BASIC SQUARE.
  • The basic square is usually one of the first things one is taught to crochet.
